Ever since Gonda-Bastian worked on a Steenbeck 16 mm editing table
at the New York Film Academy in
2000, editing has been a part of his professional life.
Gonda-Bastian regularly works with FinalCutStudio and Avid
(MC, XPressPro,
Liquid). For graphics and effects-editing, he usually
chooses Motion and AfterEffects.
His wide knowledge of
non-linear-editing systems has allowed him to work across Europe
as a Demo Artist for companies such as D.A.V.I.D. GmbH and
Pinnacle Systems.
His dedication and eye for “making the right cut” has
put him into high

demand.
Working for pep-tv, the in-house business television
of the BMW Group, in 2002, was just for starters.
Soon after, Janus TV
- the largest German television supplier of documentaries,
magazines (news and lifestyle) and docu-soaps discovered
his talent.
He started working for them on a regular basis in 2003,
editing films for nationwide major German television
channels such as Pro 7,
Kabel 1 and ZDF.
