Even as a child, growing up in the Harz mountains in Northern Germany,
Gonda-Bastian loved to tell stories. As a seven-year-old he was able to
convince his teacher that he and his family were moving to a remote, tiny
island in the North Sea. He was so believable that his teacher was very
surprised to see him return to her class after summer break.
Throughout his childhood and young adult life, Gonda-Bastian expressed
his love for story-telling through acting and directing theatre plays, until he
discovered film-making in the late nineties.
He is currently working out of Vancouver, British Columbia. |
